In questi giorni a Nuoro, l’ISRE – Istituto Superiore Regionale Etnografico con il suo direttore artistico Alessandro Stellino – promuove in collaborazione con SIEFF – Sardinia International Ethnographic Film Festival – ed insieme ai contributi della Fondazione Sardegna Film Commission e della Fondazione Sardegna la quarta edizione di un importante rassegna di docu-film di autore ISREAL – Festival di cinema del reale che ha come tema: sguardi sul Mediterraneo.
All’Auditorium Giovanni Lilliu fino al 12 maggio saranno proiettati circa una trentina di film, opere realizzate nell’area del bacino del Mediterraneo, di cui 9 film – che participano al concorso legato all’evento – rappresentano le nostre tradizioni e le trasformazioni sociali, un presente contemporaneo con percorsi evolutivi indissolubili dalla nostra identità.
Non ci si focalizza solo sulla Sardegna o sull’Europa, ma con un più ampio respiro, si volge lo sguardo anche all’altra parte del mondo.
E con la presenza di Roberto Minervini, pluripremiato regista, vincitore del David di Donatello (2014) si guarda agli Stati Uniti, che attualmente con la presidenza di Trump vivono un clima di incessanti cambiamenti socio-economici con una recrudescenza dei fenomeni razziali.
La città di Nuoro propone questo festival in cui si riafferma il principio posto nello statuto dell’ISRE ovvero quello di creare ponti, abbattere barriere, al fine di costruire e condividere conoscenze, nuovi sguardi orientati verso una crescita di consapevolezza etica, verso un futuro credibile, migliore.
